205. I'm a theist since long, meaning I have the conviction -like the US Founding fathers- that we humans don't need a religion to approach God, much less to live a blessed terrestrial life.
However, my respect for the religion-based philosophic approach of Incas and also Jews notwithstanding, I have learnt since my childhood in hometown Huanuco, Peru to highly appreciate the incomparable work Mormons do around the world in benefit of so many people, disregarding the faith they follow. This convincement brought me to use the chance of being in San Francisco in September 2005 to add a short trip to Salt Lake City.
During that stay I had the opportunity to see with own eyes their amazing Relief Center from where they distribute help to every corner of the World.
On the other hand I still have strong reservations towards the incumbent president Obama since he put in place a demagogic campaign against Ms Clinton and Mr McCain; and since he showed no respect for the crucial role president Bush Jr had to play after 9/11/2001.
Therefore, as one Peru American who in the 80-ties and early 90-ties experienced hardships in Germany confronting the anti Americanism among its governmental and entrepreneurial elites, I kindly invite US Americans to cast a vote favoring the contestant, for whom I feel not only that he is genuinely a good person but also because I'm convinced that he is better prepared and has the wiser approach to lead the USA in regaining competitiveness and to work hand in hand with Latin Americans with the purpose to better help the whole World.
